A concept for an NFL team in Memphis, Tennessee, created for an FBLA graphic design competition. The presentation ended up placing second nationally at the National Leadership Conference. The concept utilizes the city's rich cultural past as a mecca for music and Americana. The team's name, the Memphis Kings, draws from the names of the city's most notable residents, such as B.B. King and Elvis Presley, who is now widely regarded as the "king of rock & roll." In order to align with the name of the team, the logo is meant to symbolize a crown, with jewels having the same colors as the rhinestones seen on Elvis's "Aloha From Hawaii" concert suit.
